Remission.
Crystal, shining,
shimmering
in the distance
like an oasis
in the desert.
Am I anything other
than someone
whose mouth is cracked and dry?
Crawling on my belly
through burning sands of chemo
longing for water?
Re-mission.
A new mission
waiting for me
when i arrive.
