Houston-job-search.com is a standard job search web site that is used by both part-time and full-time job seekers. It holds a wealth of data and allows job seekers to often apply online for their desired position.

SimplyHired.com is yet another job search web site that offers young job seekers many part-time opportunities, especially during the summer months.

SUMMER CAMPS

One of the best places for student to earn extra money, gain people skills, and learn responsibility is to work at a summer camp. Houston has many from which to choose offering a variety of experiences from day camps to overnight camps.

Kidventure Houston summer camps offer themed camp weeks. The camp has been in business for 15 years and has many opportunities for students to join their counselor team.

For students who have a talent in the area of sports, the MVP Sports Camps is a good place to work. These camps specialize in sports camps unique to the individual sports concentrations, like volleyball, football, baseball, soccer, and basketball.

Camp Cayote is another overnight camp that offers a Texas experience and is a great place for students to work as counselors.

YMCA and YWCA camps are run throughout the summer months. They both have plenty of job opportunities for young job seekers.
