You looked at me,
So solemn and sincere.
No longer does memory supply
The cause or the occasion.
But you widened eyes
To create a blazen of innocence

At the corners
Of innocent puppy-eyes,
And the quirk of smile
At the corners of your mouth
Gave your secrets away.
You were guilty
Of all my accusations
And probably more.

as I gaze into your eyes
