However, if they spam, the credibility of their link will lose its value. People do not trust Spam. Everyone will usually ignore the affiliate links, if they are promoted in inappropriate places.

* Choosing the wrong program- There are literally thousands of affiliate programs out there. You should choose the one that suits your website the most. Many affiliates end up choosing a program that pays them a lot of money for each and every sign up. However, getting that sign up can take more than a year. You should choose the program that is suitable for your niche.

Many affiliates make the mistake of choosing the wrong program. They never get out of it. This mistake leads to the downfall of many affiliates. There are programs that pay in pennies. You should also avoid these types of programs. Select the right program, and your life will become much easier.

* Lack of demand- There are some programs out there that people are not interested in. The program might suit your niche, but it might not have enough demand on the Internet. You should not become part of any affiliate program that there is no demand for.

* Lack of promotion- Some people sign up for an affiliate program, and expect people to sign up through their affiliate link. However, they do not promote their link enough. They don't want to Spam, and they end up not promoting their link. There are many ways to promote your link without spamming. You can make your own website or a blog to get people to sign up through your affiliate link.

These are some mistakes made by affiliates. Avoid them, and you will be on the right path.
