I know what you're thinking. Isn't it a little late to be remembering Michael? But it's little things I do in my everyday life that reminds me of him. Now I know Michael Jackson was an amazing dancer and singer. But this wasn't why I looked up to him. I looked up to him because he was a philanthropist. He was one of the main reasons why I like to donate my time and money to charities. Even through his music he expressed his passion of giving back. Through songs like "Man In The Mirror" and " We Are The World". Michael has done so much for this world and people put that aside because they think of him as a man that sleeps with little boys. People always have to look at the bad things. But if you remember, he was found not guilty. People forget about all the philanthropy he has done and find him crazy. Especially because of his skin. He wanted to be fully bleached because he had a skin disease called Vitiligo which caused white spots to appear on his skin. He only did this so he could fit in. But by doing this people took it the wrong way and some accused him of wanting to be white. Also people thought he was crazy because of his nose. When he was a kid his dad would tell him that he was ugly and it was because of his nose. This hurt Michael and I think he got plastic surgery on his nose so maybe his dad wouldn't say all those mean things to him. I don't know if his dad still said any of those remarks anymore, but I know some of his fans did. This is why he likes to hang out with kids so much. He said he likes kids so much because they don't judge. Anyway you shouldn't judge a person by the bad things that they did or may have been accused of. Everybody makes mistakes in their life and they don't have people criticizing them constantly about it. Michael Jackson was a great man who brought the age of enlightenment to music and dance and may have changed the face of music and dance forever. Judging and following what people say gets the best of us. Well now Michael is in a better place where he won't be judged by other people.
