Today, about 40 million tourists visit Las Vegas every year, coining the familiar phrase, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas".
The Las Vegas Strip, open 24 hours a day, leaves plenty of time for any activities and enjoyment!
The best time of year to visit and enjoy the Las Vegas Strip all depends on your preferences. For example, if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of crowds and parties, the holiday season of Christmas and New Year's may not be the right time to visit the Las Vegas strip. However, on the flip side, if the crowded holiday festivities are something you relish, the Las Vegas Strip might just be your destination of choice at that time of the year!
Deciding which hotel to reside at during your stay to the Las Vegas Strip may be somewhat perplexing. Here are a couple of suggestions for hotel choices, based on your available budget.
First of all, if money is not an issue for your hotel accommodations, you may want to try the Wynn Las Vegas. This beautiful, 5-star hotel features its own golf course, along with spacious guest rooms that overlook the Strip, top of the line linens, spa, and the ultimate in fine dining. General rates start at $159 per night.
If, however, you are someone strapped for cash, then, look no farther! Check out the Flamingo Las Vegas, featuring an enormous casino, a water playground, a wildlife habitat, and dining options, featuring Asian, tropical, and classic steak cuisine. The room rates start as low as $38 per night with certain discount prices.
When you're ready to tempt your palate with a mouth-watering meal, here are a couple of restaurant choices that may catch your eye.
To begin with, the Alex restaurant, in Wynn Las Vegas, can leave a dent in even the fattest wallets of its owners. The food, however, relinquishes any doubt of over pending with its fine cuisine of Italian, French, and New American, as well as unique fish choices, and yes, they even offer out-of-the-ordinary crispy frog legs!
A second choice for the budget-conscious wallets of the majority of people today, the Buffet at Bellagio may be just the place to end your hungering appetite. This classy buffet offers many appetizing choices, such as kurobuta pork shoulder, duck breast, St. Louis-style ribs, sushi, and even fresh pizza, all for $20 at lunch.
