A relationship is normally between two people. Either a man and woman or same sex couples. However there are those rare occasions when people fall in love and just can't help it. Such a story happened once with me and my friends. There were three of us. Two of us were males and the other female.

John and Jack were normal guys. John straight and Jack gay. Well they hung out a lot doing everything together. They would go to the arcade, bowling, movies as friends. That's what friends do. One day after the movies they went to Jack's house to sleep over. Well this was the first time it happened. Jack could not resist his best buddy laying there beside him. He started talking about the two of them and how they always enjoyed each others company and friendship. They talked for close to two hours on the subject. Until Jack finally asked his friend to be with him sexually. To Jack's surprise John accepted the invitation. That very night they had sex.

The next morning everything was still cool between the two of them. So sometimes they were more intimately involved than friendship after this. Others would just be the fun times like before. This went on for several years. Then all of the sudden John started liking a certain young lady. Well as time went on Shirley and John started seeing each other romantically. This kind of upset Jack but not too seriously.

However one day Jack did ask John about the relationship and how it was affecting theirs as well. After talking awhile they decided to confront Shirley with a compromise. Shirley and Jack could take turns with John. For a few months this seemed to be going alright. Then things were getting confusing for John. He couldn't keep the pace with both of his romantic lovers.

Once he made up his mind what to do he called both his friends together. They met at John's place to discuss the matter. After a long, sometimes heated, discussion the three made a decision. A somewhat unique one too. They figured out that Shirley and Jack loved John the same amount. So the three decided to share their lives all together. After awhile they even moved in with one another. Now they live and function together as a happy couple or I should say threesome.

One can never figure out love. We just know it exist and is uncontrollable. No one can say why it happens or who it will happen to. When people fall in love nothing can stop it. Some do not always understand how or why but we can all be certain that it is real. To share love is a wonderful thing no matter who you are.
