Lover, soul mate words could not calibrate
The meaning you gave to my life.
Like a burning tree,
Everything that was happy in you had left long ago.

I have memories of your whispers
I smile because thoughts of you then,
Kindle warmth in me.

I loved so easily in the past.
Till I met you,
Standards are too high to move on, now.
The smiles you had, jokes you told, arguments we had, passed quickly.

Everything I do has strength, from the happiness you gave me.
The laughs during, your last days
Let me feel I passed a peace to you.

No matter how many times I wash your clothes, or our sheets,
Your fragrance dances on them.
Day or night I find a remembrance
Of you, all for the better.

First you where my friend
Second, a man I revered
Then hand in glove, in one breath,
You left me.

No matter to death, or location,
We are the same,
Till tomorrow, Dear
