1. Don't quit your day job just yet. It is best to take your time researching the jobs you can reasonably complete on your own before you hand in your letter of resignation. You should also roughly estimate how long each job should take you to complete to average the number of hours you would have to put in to make the same income as you do now.
2. Don't rely on one income source. Unfortunately the rules are different in the real world versus the virtual world. In the real world, one employer might be able to satisfy your basic needs, but you should never rely solely on one virtual employer for your income. It is best to have two or three income providers to cover yourself from the risk of one simply shutting down or changing payment policies among other issues.

5. Set up your home office. Your work area must be a place that you are comfortable and free from distractions. 7. Stick with it. Probably the most important factor is the determination to succeed. You must have the drive to wake up every day and bid for jobs and actually do the work. The income you take in every month will depend solely on those efforts so you have to be motivated to perform.
