The Lady in the Darkness
Not so long ago, and not so far away, there was a lady, wandering through the darkness of a great castle. She was not alone; she was with two others, beings smaller than herself who she cared for day and night.
They all lived in the dark castle, constantly bumping into walls, and evading the dark monster that inhabited the castle. Once a candle was lit, he would emerge quickly and without warning, snuffing it out so that any rays of light would never penetrate the gloom.
The castle was so large that the small beings were lost at times, their protector searching for them as the monster held them in his grasp. Loving the two with all of her being, the lady succumbed to the torture dished out by the monster, was his slave and did everything he commanded without question.
One day, the shutters opened, seemingly by themselves, and the light penetrated the castle's gloom. The three, the lady, and the two younglings, had never seen such brightness before. There was a hush in the room and then suddenly, a whisper only audible to the three

The lady and the two small beings knew of this God and had waited many years to finally know what was right and what he had in store for them; they knew that he was the only true God, and was the God they followed, not the evil monster God that ruled the dark castle.
The lady took advantage of the light, and one day, stood against the dark monster. She paid a high earthly price for this deed, but in the end, it worked and the monster was gone for a time, and the three were happy.
Days went by, and they lady grew more afraid that the monster would grow tired of his adventures on the water and in the even larger mansion by the sea. First she kept guard by the castle door with a knife that was sharp enough to stop the monster's attacks, but eventually she could not go on in such a way so she ran away with the two little ones and hid in a small cottage that had a lagoon of blue, many trees of fruit and all of their favorite things.
They loved their life in the tiny cottage, but one day, the monster returned, making threats and terrifying the three once again. She waited for the justice that did not seem to come, and wept as she spent her birthday alone and miserable as the monster took the younglings away from her, laughing with another witch and warlock who had spawned the monster. In the constable's chambers she was not able to find justice, just a crooked troll who made
