Cowboys By The Campfire
After a long days work
riding through the rough trails,
the cowboys sit by the campfire
and talk about their adventurous tales.
The weather was so very hot
horses didn't take long to tire,
trying to keep the cattle together
more cowboys, they needed to hire.
The hot sun, beat upon their backs
desperately looking for shade,
these cowboys love this life, though
cool water's around, for them to wade.
This is a cowboy's every day life
it's so very hard to keep themselves clean,
traveling 'neath the heat of the sun
at night, preparing their supper of beans.
