Calm, quiet ever attentive
shy, kind always forgiving
smile, laugh never crying
breathe, talk so very caring
my life seems so perfect, so serene
no bumps in the road, thats what you think
but underneath it all, my life may seem pretty mean
between serenity and madness I stand on the brink
Can't choose, can't decide, can't think
ignore life, ignore thoughts, ignore problems
but when I go to bed at night
all my secrets, all my lies uncovered wake me up
What to do now?
I do not know
so I will do what I have been doing
pretend nothings wrong, pretend everything is perfect and serene

Search for Serenity
Pulse is pounding, eyes are shifting,
Rain is beating, shoes are slogging.
Wander on, never stop,
Park
by Ezra Siske
In the quiet of the night,
By the glow of a pale moon,
I watch her sleep.
Blankets tucked under her chin,
Her face untroubled
I stand beneath the canopy
Of massive trees surrounding
A gentle breeze blows through the leaves
A calmness all around me
Pull yourself together,
Tie your own knot,
Remove alien tether,
That makes you burn hot,
Stay serene and cold-blooded,
Look
Half-Moon Smiles
A Supreme iron hand...
clutches Grandpa's red suspenders,
like a Mother holds onto her baby.
God won't allow
