Why we should revere all jobs and recognize their value

A job is just that, a job. Everyone needs to work at something to contribute to today's society, no matter what job it is. Does working in some fancy office mean you are worth more than someone that does less meaningful work? Does wearing fancy clothes make you any better of a person to do the job that is allocated to you than someone wearing a coverall working out of doors?

Working is working, no matter what the job is. If you clean toilets, are you less important than the people that you clean those toilets for. Learning a skill, no matter what that skill is, is important to our everyday lives. Every job has to have some sort of training, whether it's in a classroom, or by someone showing us how to do said job. Some things are not taught in the classroom, you have to learn by the hands on way to get it right.

Let's look at some of the jobs that are out there that most people would never even consider doing themselves. Garbage men do a dirty job every day, but are the appreciated for their thankless jobs, most people stick their noses in the air at garbage men, saying, I would never do that it's too dirty. What would those same people do without the garbage men that pick up their garbage every week, would they just let it pile up?

The people that come into our homes and unclog our sewer systems, and toilets do one of the most repulsive jobs there is in my books. It's not something I could do myself, but I sure appreciate them when I need my toilet unclogged. Most people thinks that it's disgusting, but what would they do when their toilets were overflowing, or their sewer tanks are spilling into their back yards? It's a very important job that has to be done by someone, if it isn't done by someone, what would our planet look like after just one week, can you imagine that picture.

Everyone has to do their little bit to keep everyone's lives running smoothly. It doesn't matter if you clean the sidewalks after a parade, or a stadium after a big game has just finished, the job has to be done by someone.

It doesn't matter what kind of job you do as long as you're happy with your job. If your not doing something that you like to do, then you might as well stay at home. But if you do stay at home, who is going to support your family. It sometimes seems like a vicious circle. You either like doing your job, or you don't, but it still has to be done by someone.

The next time you see someone doing a job that you yourself would rather not do yourself, show your appreciation for that person. Let them know that you are happy that they are doing that dirty job. Everyone is important in this world and they should always remember their importance. From the smallest job, to the biggest job, someone has to do it
