Of sound mind and body
When my body finally fails, my debt finally paid
Grant this last request and stay your dirty spade
Let the cleansing fires judge my worth
And give my vessel back to Mother Earth
I have no need for caskets or suits
Do not plant me deep beneath the roots
Let flames take this body and reduce it to dust
Let the winds take the smoke wherever it must
When my dearest love has passed, treat her with the same care
Join our ashes and reunite the pair
Spread them in the woods of the Midwest
And where ever my dearest love may request
And spread them where we bound our lives forever
Return us to the Earth, but return us together
