an early morning song of gratefulness
Look out the window,
blue and white,
mingling in the sky,
letting me know
that a new day arose.
Some believe
it is time to lay down and sleep.
i believe
it is time to forget about it all,
to let my hand move this pen,
and to rest when my heart says so.
A pleasant soul
has left its seeds,
life buried in the ground of my being,
and my essential void
feels life's fulfillment,
as it hears the heart
for you, today, singing.

Waking from its peaceful slumber,
In its beauty glowing.
Dewdrops conjure
