Many believe that the first date is the biggest deal of them all. It all depends on the first impression, you do not want them to think you are boring or too hyper, mean, crazy, or a wreck in general. So here are a few things to consider doing with that special someone on a first date.

Probably one of the most popular things to do on a first date is to go to a local park or mall, sit down, and people watch. This is fun because you take the attention off of yourself and put it on to people passing by. It is true that some might think you are mean for doing this but if you think it is fun and they don't then they are not the one for you.

Some guys think that taking a first date to the movie is a good idea...far from it. Taking a girl to a movie on the first date is the worst thing you can do, it's just not original. Ladies, if he wants to take you to a movie on a first date it means that all he wants to do is get some action. Why else would he want to go to a dark place where you can't really see anyone else? Anyways back to the guys, find something original. Cook her dinner, go for a walk and lay under the stars.

I believe that the only original activity to do is dinner. This way you can sit face to face and talk one on one. Find out if they have any siblings or what they want to do when they get older. And no matter who asks who to dinner the guy should always pay for the meal. This will show the woman that you are a gentlemen. Now guys if you really want to dazzle the ladies, walk her to the front door after the date, don't just say bye and drive off. Walk her to the front door, say you had a great night, give her a hug, and then say bye.

Now probably the biggest piece of advice I can offer is if you think you have a crazy family, a dinner at home is not the best thing. If you are afraid that your parents will scare them away, don't bring them home! You should wait till the third or fourth date to let them meet your parents.

Making a first impression can either break or make a relationship. Doing something crazy might make them think you are a little too much to handle, but do something boring and they might think your not exciting enough. Yes a first date can be a little frustrating but don't worry, if it doesn't work with one, there are always more fish in the sea.
