Finding out whether or not you boy/girlfriend has feelings for their ex's is not too difficult to find out. Sometimes it is just plain obvious but others it takes a little digging.

First thing to watch out for is if you go over to their house and they still have pictures of them just out in the open, there is a good chance that they still have feelings. If you question them about it they will probably tell you that they don't have feelings but they are just keeping them for memories. Memories are not meant to be left out in the open, the whole point of having a memory box is to look in it every now and then and remember the memories that you once shared with that person.

Another way to find out is if you have been dating someone for awhile and they call you by their ex's name. This normally means that their mind is on that person more than it should be. But if they keep calling you by that person, it is time to loose them.

Probably the easiest way to find out if your significant other has a thing for their ex is if they always bring their name up in a conversation. This actually has happened to me before. She would always talk about her ex Micheal and how he was such a jerk to her. Funny thing is is that she always wanted to talk to him and insisted on them being friends. This part I do not understand, he was a jerk, she broke up with him, and she still wants to be friends. Another thing to be aware of is if they take you by their ex's work just to see if they are there, they most likely still like that person.

The last thing you can do to find out is to bring up the ex;s name in a conversation. If he or she seems to be acting nervous or like they do not want to talk about it, there might be a chance that they still have feelings for the ex. Yes, if they do not want to talk about it, it could mean that they have had bad experiences with the person and really just does not want to talk about it. In this instence you should ask them just to be sure.

Trying to find out can be difficult. If you keep asking the other about it then it might make them want to dump you. I hope all these suggestions help you in determining if your significant other still has feelings for their ex.
