When you are homesick, you need to figure out the proper coping mechanisms that will allow you to continue about your daily activities without having your grades suffer, or your mental state to be compromised. Your health and well-being depend on you being firmly grounded while away at college. Being homesick is something that befalls every student at one time or another, but it is how you deal with this homesickness that can make all the difference in the world.
