It's important to note that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a beneficial way to drive not only traffic to your site but increase the rank of webpages through organic keyword search. It's important to start with an on-site SEO evaluation in order to access the current/new websites and to see what areas need to be addressed. It's critically important that each page of the website it optimized with unique title/description tags/URL structure and good content. This writer, an SEO expert explains why on-site SEO is so important: "I'm an individual that works for a boston SEO firm. SEO experts understand that an on-site SEO evaluation is the like the final inspection right before a new car rolls off the production line. You have to make sure that all your ducks are in-a-row in terms of on-site SEO before you can truly focus on off-site SEO. Once the on-site SEO is complete, let the games begin..." It's always important to begin all of your off-site SEO once your on-site SEO is complete, so that you can in essence get the biggest bang/return for your buck.

1) Unique Title/Description Tags: It's important to create unique title/description tags for each webpage your site has. Remember to incorporate similar keywords into each tag, but don't go overboard, make each tag sound appropriate, without it sounding like you are trying to stuff in as many keywords as possible.

2) Proper URL Structure: When you create your webpage remember that it's important to set-up the correct URL structure. This means that instead of numbers your URL contains actual words. For examples, it we create title and description tags for a webpage pertaining to SEO your URL should not look like this: (www.urlname.com/96659493822), your URL should look like: (www.urlname.com/seo).

3) Dynamic/Unique Content: Adding good quality content that corresponds to the keywords you use within your URL and title/description tags is key. Page content is just another way to increase the relevancy of your webpage within the search engines and help increase your rank for specific keywords.

Of course the three tips above are not the only areas that need to be addressed in terms of on-site seo, but they will certainly help your overall SEO efforts. Remember that SEO is a constant effort and process, it is never really complete. There are always new opportunities that will help drive traffic and potential leads to your website, where at the same time you can increase your keyword rank for the specific keywords you are targeting.
