Armageddon: Is it coming soon?

Satan's Last Try to Defeat God

At the end of the thousand years, Satan will be set free. He will fool the countries of Magog, which are at the far ends of the earth, and their people will follow him into battle against the Holy City. They will have as many followers as there are grains of sand along the beach, and they will march all the way across the earth. They will surround the camp of God's people and the city that his people love. But fire will come down from heaven and devour the whole army. (Revelation 20:9)

Fire from Heaven

A re-run of Sodom and Gomorrah?

The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.

Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;

And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

Genesis 19:23-26 KJV

That's it. In a ball of celestial flame, the rebellion is over. There will be no repeat of the the judgments of the Great Tribulation. Once and for all, human rebellion will have been wiped out of existence.

The Millennium will prove that even the best of conditions, a thousand years of peace, prosperity, safety, long life, health and abundance cannot change the wicked-ness of the unredeemed human heart. Only the Lord Jesus Christ can do that!

Will There Ever Be War Again?

No. Never again. The Battle of Gog and Magog is earth's absolute last and final battle. Immediately following the Battle of Gog and Magog will be the Great White Throne Judgement and Lake of Fire. (Rev. 20:9-15)

The location of these people are drawn from the names of Gog, Magog, Meshech and Tubal and is not located in Russia as many think, but rather in an area south of Russia in northeastern Asia.

NOTE:

Two Separate Battles

This Battle of Gog and Magog in Rev. chapter 20 must not be confused with the Battle of Armageddon in chapter 16. The millennial age lies between them. This Battle of Gog and Magog is the battle of the Great Day of God Almighty. Thus it ends all sin and rebellion from this planet. God has proven in each age that the natural man is un-submissive and grows worse and worse. He must be annihilated.

God Bless You.
