The case against Barack Obama's candidacy to the 2008 presidential election

Barack Obama is the perfect candidate for the 2008 Presidential Election. The only thing that stands in his way are the heinous misconceptions of the media and the general public. People look at his name: Barack Hussein Obama. So his middle name is shared by an ex-evil dictator, and his last name sounds like that of one of the most wanted terrorists in the world. So what? Are you going to let these tiny little things stop you from voting for the man who could potentially save our country. Other misconceptions about Barack Obama: he's a radical Muslim terrorist, he's too black, and he's not black enough. First off, simply because he went to a non-religious public school in the primarily Muslim country of Indonesia for two years (age 7-8) does not mean that he's a radical Muslim terrorist or even a Muslim for that matter. The last I checked, he's Baptist and goes to church every Sunday. Not a single Muslim that I know of goes to a Christian church every Sunday. Second off, he is not too white or too black. His father is black, and his mother is white. That sounds like half-and-half to me. The rest of that issue just seems to be an argument about his personality. Get over the religion and race issue, people. Go out and make a smart decision on Election Day: make a decision that this country can be proud of.
