Poetry: The sun

by Jonathan Thorogood

Created on: July 27, 2009

"Once more, the sable mantle of night will draw back and the sun will raise her gleaming crown from beneath even's velvet hood; her fiery countenance will be unveiled upon the world. Her blushing face will herald the crimson dawn; her radiant, golden brow will smite the horizon and break the day as she thrusts her white sword through the firmament refracting the glint of her flaming glory and in her empyrean presence there will be rebirth."
