Wireless Wi-Fi network connection

Every modern laptop is Wi-Fi enabled, allocating internet access from any part of the world. However, while using your wireless laptop, you should be conscious of Wi-Fi standards, hotspots, and you should know how to utilize this technology to make the best use of your laptop. The 802.11g Wi-Fi wireless network connection is the latest model to install on your laptop. The Wi-Fi network connection consists of protocols like 802.11, 802.15, 802.16, and 802.20. However, for most laptop users, 802.11 would be sufficient with added `a`, `b`, or `g`. As of now, 802.11g is the only protocol that one wants to think when it comes to wireless connectivity. The latest Wi-Fi connection is the 802.11g and presents a speed up to 54 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz radio bands, which is five times more than the earlier set 802.11b. It is steadier, more safe and diffident well matched.

Most of the notebooks, manufactured today are 802.11g Wi-Fi set ready. This set is also planed to change the older Wired Equivalent Privacy by specifying the Wi-Fi Protected Access. The Wi-Fi protected area will role as a temporary solution, until the next standard, the 802.11i network safety standard is applied with a new algorithm called Temporal Key Integrity Protocol, which will be much more safe and dependable. On the other hand, until the new standard is applied, the 802.11g is to be tracked. Along with the software, you should also think of updating to improve the hardware. Hackers have always established that 802.11a and 802.11b are very simple to cut. However, 802.11g is difficult to crack and you should believe upgrading your hardware to `g` card. An 802.11g is well matched with IEEE 802.11b. Thus, 802.11g can control the extensive, international adoption of IEEE 802.11b in yields from laptops to PDAs. A private firewall, such as Zone Alarm or Black ICE can considerably add up to the security level of your laptop. Whenever you are with your laptop at a Wi-Fi hotspot, make it a point that not to send information.

While you are browsing, do not give your credit-card number, ending date, passwords, bank account numbers, etc. Responsive data are the goldmines for hackers, and they will steal your bank account before you can say anything. If you do not need Wi-Fi to apply your work, then you must switch off. If you need the Wi-Fi Wireless LAN from Ontario, Canada & USA just to send and receive files, then stay connected for only that period and the rest of the
