A Midnight Consoler,
It was the day every little girl dreamt about. Everything was perfect or so she thought. The gown was gorgeous. It was a strapless pale ivory dress with intricate beaded pearls and shimmering crystal-like sequence.
The church was breathtaking with a huge floral display of lavender calla lilies, orchids, and white roses. Elegant white candles decorated the altar. Her bridesmaids wore simple spaghetti strap indigo satin dresses and the groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos with deep purple ties.
They couldn't have picked a better day too. Perfect sunshine and a light breeze made this day seem almost too good to be true and sadly this day was too good to be true. The ceremony went smoothly and Alexandra Spencer became Mrs. William Stevens. After the ceremony the wedding party along with all the guests made their way to the reception.
A beautiful hall tucked away by a serene lake provided the perfect setting for a celebration as was this one. The guests ate and danced and gushed over the happy couple. But after a few hours Alexandra noticed her new husband was absent from the festivities. She decided to look for him since it was almost time for them to make their departure. She searched and called his name but no answer. She then heard the sound of voices coming from behind a closed door. The man's voice sounded familiar so she flung open the door and there was her barely clothed husband in the embrace of one of her bridesmaid's also half naked body.
She froze and William immediately started to scramble to his feet trying his best to comfort his heartbroken wife, but it was too late. She ran outside of the building. He followed her but she ran deeper into the woods praying he would not find her among the trees. He searched but he eventually gave up and headed back inside since it was very dark and he did not have a flashlight.
The night was black and clouds drifted past a barely visible moon as a tiny shimmer of silver filtered through murky despair. There she sat starring at the water crying all alone while her tears caressed her fair skin and her blood red lips formed a perfect pout. Her beautiful ivory gown was now stained from this midnight escapade.
She never saw him approaching and her gasp pierced the bleak night. She stared at him in gawking surprise. He was breathtakingly beautiful. He had hair as black as a raven's and it seemed to glisten under the silver moonlight. His skin
