Poetry: Power

-Control Freak-

How can you...
damage me?
With broken wings,
I am not free.
Kicking me down,
there's pain on your shoes.
I will not cry,
It would only please you.
Your words are contradictory.
I should do what you want.
Live the life,
that you don't.
I am your animal,
I am trapped in your cage.
I can't break free,
I am hostile and full of rage.
You break me down,
your words cut like a knife.
I am alone and wounded,
you have the power over my life.
