I have for sometime now believed we have what is called "reverse discrimination" particularly between the white and black people. I have noticed as I worked in a primarily all "black" office I was treated quite differently, not favorably then when I was in a primarily all "white" office. I've also noticed that not all people in each ethnic group either Caucasian or black act the same way as far as race goes. Some of my very best friends are and have been black.

When I attended Bible College in Ohio years ago I noticed t some of he "foreigners" were particularly pushy and rude asking questions for directions and help in the form of commands rather than using please or thank you and also being very abrupt and rude in wanting what they wanted immediately. This is all quite strange for a Christian Bible College I think as the tenements of faith in the Christian value system is to prefer others over yourself but some of the foreigners were not acting in this fashion. Again not all foreigners acted rude and abrupt but some of them toward the Caucasian peers in their dormitories.

I don't like it when just because I am "white" I am treated unkindly anymore than a person of another ethnic background likes it. It seems to be a phychologial malady that when there is a present "majority" that majority rules in thought and deed. I kind of understand it all as if you have been treated in a bad way due to your race, creed, handicaps, beliefs or for other reasons and you get in the majority when you were in the minority for a period of time and suffered because of it, you finally get the upper hand so to speak and want to run with it, but I don't like it and I don't excuse it.

I also noticed that sometimes not often a handicapped person gets treated poorly by someone because they are handicapped. I was handicapped with a back injury, moved very slowly and people were rude to me. One lady said to her little girl, "they have medicine for that" and gave me an ugly look. My back was a disc problem, very painful and quite difficult to get out of the car at the store, but I was alone and had to get the pills from the pharmacy for pain, so I had to go in the car in much pain, get out of the car slowly in much pain, and get in the store. This lady was disturbed by it all as I was handicapped and walking slowly.

My mom who is in remission of cancer also had an incident with some young men in a car. She went to the store with her two new hips, her stapled stomach from cancer
