Looking through the tinted window
Staring, maybe crying inside
Pretending to be happy and fine
I know you were asking how was I
Oh
Oh
I should have said I was okay
But the time wasn't mine.
You were there and you were gone
Never could ask you and never answered
Just seemed to be fine
Oh yes I did look fine
But the look wasn't that naive of mine
You saw, and you too looked fine.
I was there and I was bound
I had to turn my head around
Nothing happened and nothing was seen
But things were more than what had been
Oh a lot more
Oh a lot more than that.

Poetry: More than that
Do you love me more than starshine on gold
That spackles the ermines and sceptres in tow
More than the woollens that snaffle
by Marie Smith
More than that
It was a beautiful summers evening,
where the moon was brightly shining, glimmering.
I imagine you whispering,
You only see what you want to see;
I can't only be what you want me to be.
There is far more to me than that
Image of me you
by Jon Coe
To me, I am much more than you think
Who else would you need after too much to drink?
To you, I am nothing but a household
My horse my friend
it will never end.
My dream my life
I will never leave
