Every person, every living being, every plant or animal, all living matter has a soul, a spirit which lives. A spirit which feels all emotions from happiness through to sadness, our spirit is who we are. This is the part of us which never dies. Our physical body has many limitations which can prevent us from doing and seeing things, whereas our soul does not. You hear people say, there soul will live on, yes that is true. The soul is that spark inside each one of us which strives to grow and when it is our time, our physical bodies time, whether that be through old age or another reason to pass over, our soul leaves our physical body and passes over ready for its next journey.

Death is sometimes viewed as an end, an end of a life, this does not have to be the case, death can also be viewed as the beginning. The beginning of a souls new journey to knowledge and of higher being. Watching over there family and those close to them, giving guidance where needed, in a way in which the person receiving this information will understand. Death is not the end of a person it is their souls next chapter in life, although, with the physical eye we may not see these souls or entities, this does not mean they are not present waiting for us to call upon them for guidance or reassurance.

To think of our life as only present within the living, is a very narrow although easy concept to grasp. To think, when we die that is the end of us is a very depressing thought, our body dies so we do too. Do we not want to think, that when our loved ones or ourselves die then they still somehow live on. There spirit lives on. To think of and accept this thought, does that mean you are accepting or acknowledging the unknown or unseen? That can be a scary thought in itself, although you do not have to go that deep to know that our spirit, our soul survives death.

There are many people who believe in ghosts, they are not really sure of how or why they believe, they just know they do. Ghosts are the spirits of the once living, peoples souls who stay for reasons to themselves. This may sound like an eerie concept to think of in this way, but if we believe in ghosts, then we must believe in our soul living on after our physical body has died.
