Freelance writing is a great way to earn extra income online. However, earning a semi decent to sufficient amount of money through freelance writing online requires some acquired skills as well as a lot of time and effort. Freelance writing for income however is entirely different than writing in general or writing for fun. There are several ways to find success with freelance writing on the Internet

Quality Writing lots of articles Different sites Not offering exclusive rights Patience

Making sure you follow these very loose and simple guidelines to freelance writing will greatly improve your earnings with freelance writing sites. But let us get started.

First things first, quality. Do not bother writing online for income unless you plan on producing quality articles. There are many reasons for this. For starters no one wants to read an article that is absolute garbage. Therefore your article probably does not stand a chance at earning much. So just remember the quality of your articles is very important. If someone likes your articles and decides it is well written chances are they will take a look at other articles you have also written.

Next thing to do if you are serious about increasing your revenue through freelance writing is to write many articles. A lot of articles is not just 25 articles but 100's. This increases the probability that people are going to see and view your article, in turn, increasing your page views and earnings. Now, it is important to remember having loads and loads of articles is only good if you have a lot of quality articles. The key here is both quality and quantity.

Using multiple sites are writing articles for all of them is another way to increase your income through freelance writing. Writing for one site is great but it is only one source of income. Now imagine writing for 3 sites and tripling your income.

When trying to get the most money out of your writing rarely offer your work up for exclusive rights to the website. This allows you to only have your piece of work on one website greatly decreasing your earnings. It is best to have your articles on one or two sites if possible doubling your earnings.

Finally, you must wait and keep writing in order to increase your earnings through freelance writing. It can be a long task but is well worth the time and effort that is put in. So be patient, the money will come in soon. Sometimes it can take six months to get a following or just to start earning some decent money, but do not give up and keep writing.
