Protecting your Google Adsense account from suspension or cancellation is vital to any Webmaster serious about making money from their creation. Google Adsense is one of the most effective ways in which any website can generate revenue for its creator and is therefore something which must be protected against abuse which could lead to problems.

The main reason why a Google Adsense account is suspended or cancelled is for the Webmaster practising what Google deems to be click fraud. This is where either the Webmaster themselves will be clicking upon their own ads in an attempt to generate additional revenue or they will be encouraging others to do so on their behalf. While this may seem like an excellent idea to many novice users of Google Adsense, it is imperative to be aware that Google is highly aware of the potential for abuse here and has steps in place to both track it and punish it most severely.

When an individual or company applies for a Google Adsense account, they will be required to accept at that time all of Google's conditions pertaining to its Adsense programme. This will include not engaging in click fraud as described above and not including Google details on inappropriate websites, such as those deemed to be adult in nature. Google will keep track of how each individual conducts their account through such as IP addresses and the type of sites upon which the Google Adsense account coding is included.

It is imperative therefore that in order to protect a Google Adsense account from suspension or cancellation, Webmasters adhere to these conditions in full. Google Adsense coding should be included on appropriate sites and revenue left to be determined by traffic which is driven to these sites through backlinks and search engine optimisation. If the Webmaster is proficient in these techniques, they will soon see revenue beginning to be generated in their Google Adsense account without their direct intervention in any underhand sense.

Protecting your Google Adsense account from suspension or cancellation is therefore in the first instance about reading the terms and conditions which apply to the account very carefully, assuring these conditions are adhered to at all times and participating in the programme within the spirit of which it was created to hopefully the mutual benefit of all parties concerned. Only in this way can a Google Adsense account holder ensure that they do not fall foul of the rules and regulations and live to regret their conduct.
