TV's Weather Reports Real or slanted

Today 07/05/09, The Weather Channel will have you believe that in the State of Texas that the temperature will be, for the first time in a hundred years, the heat will reach triple digits. That is a lot of bunk, the temperature in the south every day, is in the triple digits. The reason all weather reports are only two digits is because they take the temperature in the shade, they only get and average, they never get the true temperature.

Now if you really want to know what the true temperature is in the spring and summer in the south, north, east or west put a thermometer on your porch in the direct sunlight and you will get the true reading. I live in the south and every day since the middle of May the temperature has been in the triple digits almost breaking the thermometer when it reaches 120. When you're out on the street or playing golf some people say, "It is hot, the sun is burning me up and, then they say, the weather Channel said it was only going to be in the high eighties"

Well I have news for anyone when the weather people tell you it's going to be in the high eighties it will be in the low hundreds. When the weather channel tells you it is going to be in the mid or high nineties the temperature is going past 120 degrees. That is why it is so hot, because the direct sun is burning everything up including you.

It is overcast today the sun is hidden by all the clouds, it is 85 degrees outside and you can feel the dampness or humidity in the air and you start to sweat just walking around. So I would take a shot at the temperature and say it feels like 95 degrees and I would be right. But the weather people want you to think that heat, wind, and cold never happened before. This is happening because of man! No way in any shape or form. It has always been in triple digits in the south, ask some of the "Old Timers" in the summer they got up at dawn and worked until the sun came up and stopped what ever they were doing and went into their house for the rest of the day. Because the days are a little longer in the spring and summer at sun down if they still had a few things to do they went out and did them, as long as the sun was down.

Live in the big cities like Chicago, New York, Los Angelis, or where ever there are asphalt streets and concrete buildings and the weather channel tells you it is going to ninety and the heat index will make it feel like a 110, first make sure your
