Influences Unawares

The prince of darkness,

Cunning and sly,

Plants his seeds in

The social, political and

Lawmakers' arena.

.

Preying on human nature,

Patiently, he waits.

The anticipated response

Of God's children resonates,

We'll cloak the truth.

.

Within realms of deceit,

Assets are hidden and

Understated, while

Appeasing the prince.

They live the lie.

.

God did not say pick

And choose. His words,

If you truly love me,

Keep all my laws and

Live my way of life.

.

The prince's astute

Influences unawares

Beckons, come join me.

Boasting with laughter, he

Declares, I'll be your master.
