How to get the best completion for your skin type? Before you can find out the answer to this question you will first need to know what skin type you have. The for main skin types are normal / balanced, oily, dry or combination.

To get the best completion for your skin type it is important that you use the correct products for your skin type; follow a simple skincare routine and give your self regular

facials.

Normal Skin

The rarest of all skin types, it is also referred to as balanced. To the naked eye it appears perfect and is generally mostly seen in pre-pubescent children. If you are fortunate enough to have this skin type it must be looked after carefully to maintain the balance.

If you have normal skin then you can use cleansing lotions, occasionally cleansing wipes, foaming facial cleansers, cleansing bars and eye makeup remover. If you use a toner then it is advisable to use a floral water such as bergamot, roman chamomile, lavender, geranium, neroli or rose bulgarian. With normal skin you can use moisturizing lotions, eye gels and creams and neck creams. You could use either a granular scrub or a exfoliating peel and cream facial masks.

Oily Skin

This skin type has and excess of oil or sebum production. Due to this the pores are often large, and easily become clogged with dead cells and oil which can lead to blemishes and breakouts.

The skincare products that would be appropriate for oily skin are cleansing lotions, cleansing wipes only if you are in a hurry, foaming facial cleansers, cleansing bars and eye makeup removers. If you use toners then it is advisable to use a floral water such as geranium, rosemary, juniper berry, ylang ylang or tea tree. Oily skin can use moisturising lotions, eye gels and neck creams, granular scrubs or exfoliating peels and clay based masques these tend to dry hard.

Dry Skin

When discussing this skin type it is necessary to determine the difference between a dry skin and a dehydrated skin. Dry skin lacks oil whereas dehydrated skin lacks moisture.

When you are using skincare products to improve your complexions with dry skin it is important that you look for products that will help with the lack of oil. Such as cleansing milks, wipes only if you are in a hurry, cleansing creams and eye makeup removers. If you use a toner use a floral water such as roman chamomile, lavender, jasmine or ylang ylang. You will want to use moisturizing creams rather than lotions, eye crams and neck creams; granular facial scrubs or facial peels and cream based masks.

Combination Skin

The most common skin type, combination skin is partially oily and partially dry. The T-zone is generally oily due to the number of sebaceous glands concentrated in this area whereas the cheeks and outer areas of the face appear dry. The goal here is to balance the oil and moisture retention. To even out your complexion if you have combination skin you will need to use the appropriate skincare product for the skin type you have in that area, use the list above as a guide.

So to conclude follow a simple skincare routine using the correct products for you skin type and give yourself a regular facial or at the very least get a salon facial every six to eight weeks. Once you have settled into this routine you will notice that your complexion becomes even.
