Gaza Strip - (CP) - In a sign of further tensions on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Navy yesterday intercepted, boarded and arrested the terrorists on board a ship deceptively known as the "Spirit of Humanity". An Israeli Navy spokesperson proudly hailed the seizure as another of Israel's victories in the "War on Terrorism".

Among those arrested on the "Spirit of Humanity" were radical African American politician Cynthia McKinney and Irish nobel laureate Mairead Maguire. Israeli Navy spokesman stated the vessel was carrying, "Tools that can be used for the planning and execution of terrorists operations."

When asked to elaborate on the terrorists tools found on board the Spirit of Humanity, the Israeli Navy spokesperson whipped out a Crayola Crayon and said with dark emphasis, "These are the terrorists tools. They learn to read, write and draw with these things as children. If we are able to stop them now, while they're young, they won't be able to plan terrorist activities when they are older. We're being proactive."

Ms. McKinney and Ms. Maguire are being held in detention by Israeli forces as they work to find out who these vicious terrorists are working with at Crayola and what their ultimate intentions are.

"Look," said the Israeli Navy spokesperson. "We shoot unarmed protesters, knock peoples homes down and steal their land, starve and commit genocide on an entire peoples... and you're worried about two women who were arrested for importing Crayola Crayons?"

Government sources, who asked not to be identified, stated that Cynthia McKinney has been under surveillance for quite some time by the FBI for her association with Crayola, Hasbro and other companies. These same sources state that what Israeli forces have uncovered in boarding the "Spirit of Humanity" and arresting her passengers is just the tip of the iceberg of what they suspect is a major toy and crayon traffic syndicate running from Washington D.C. all the way to the Gaza Strip.

Huge cargo fleets filled with crayons, soccer balls, dolls and other items destined for the tiny little potential terrorists are believed to have already made it through to terrorist training camps in the Gaza Strip. Sources in Israel say the government fears a return to normalcy and hope in the area and will do whatever it can to maintain the general air of despondence and misery.

"Happy people don't blow themselves up as suicide bombers," an Israeli spokesperson told us. "If we want to make certain of the survival of the Israeli nation, we must be able to distinguish ourselves from our genetic cousins, the Palestinians. When you see a man with bombs around his waist, then you know he's a Palestinian."
