Getting fit without the high expense of gym membership or fancy home exercise equipment

The best way to get fit without expensive gym membership or fancy home exercise equipment is to adopt naturally active lifestyle.

The most natural activity is walking, try to fit it into your daily routine, make walking your dog longer or wake up 1 hour earlier and walk couple of blocks in your neighborhood.

Look at the place you live and see what kind of activity it can offer you. Does it have mountains? Find time to hike, take your family with you. Does it have clean lake or ocean in which you could swim during warm months? It is much healthier than swimming pools and you don't have to pay for it.

Find a friend or get your spouse or even better your kids to do different activities with. Kids have such a reservoir of energy, play with them. When it is nice outside I usually go out for couple of hours a day in the afternoon with them, after I have done my work. We have so much fun and guess what? It makes them tired, so there is no fighting around bed time plus we all sleep better.

Just be creative, even when you cannot do anything outdoors, you can turn on some music and keep moving, lie down on the carpet and do some toning strength exercises, you don't need any equipment for that at all. Get some ideas from exercising video, you can borrow it from your local library or borrow a book that will teach you, the most effective ones. Believe me it will reshape your body without pushing it to the point of break down and it won't leave you in a pool of sweat.

It doesn't really matter what you do as long as you don't sit whole day, be playful and have some fun!
