It's worth fighting for

I know it wasn't right,
but I still want to try.
Lets not leave it this way,
please no tears or no sighs.

The love we had can't yet of died,
we moved too fast and got lost in the ride.
We smile and we nod as a way to hide,
our true feelings lost as we yield to be kind.

This feeling inside I know it's not right,
yet I cannot act irregardless of my might.
You say you don't know me perhaps thats best,
I don't want you to feel this pain in my chest.

I'll give it my all I'll never rest,
till I know for sure I've shown you my best.
I felt so alone I retreated in,
I ask for one more chance please let me in.
