Jewelry, the universal gift for a man or a woman, friend or family member. There is a lot of jewelry sold on ebay. Pendants, earrings, bracelets, rings, necklaces, toe rings, etc. There are many tips you can pick up the more you read the website. It is a learning experience but don't be afraid to try it. The following are just a few tips I have found work for me when when I am searching, bidding and buying jewelry on ebay.
Here are a few simple guidelines to help:
First, thing I look at is the picture. If it is not appealing, you have already ruled those items out. After checking through individual listings and making selections
take time to mark the watch this item button on each listing. This will automatically start to organize the possible transactions you are about to make. Your list of items you are watching is found in the My Ebay section.
Secondly, read the description very carefully. Item description, shipping costs and preferred method of payment are included in this area. There is other information available within each listing as well. A seller's positive feedback percentage rate, a place for your feedback, where the seller will be shipping from, etc. You can even check out the other bidders. All this information comes in handy. Lastly, the starting bid or Buy It Now price will be listed. The number of days that the listing is active is important. Read all this carefully.
Thirdly, Check the seller's name and see if he/she has an ebay store. Stores provide more choices in one place during your searches on ebay. Many of these stores have multiple pieces you could be searching for. Contact with the seller is easily accessible through email, especially if you have a question.
A note to remember: if you are looking for real sterling silver then the piece should be stamped with .925 on its underside. 10K, 14K, and 18K gold will be stamped on real gold. This is good to know when comparing costs. Rings list by sizes, chains by length, etc.
I have never been unlucky on ebay because I analyze all the details, do some bidding and win, as well as make some Buy It Now purchases. I hope you have a good ebay experience. Lastly, don't let the pages scare you. Once you figure out what is important to you with your shopping needs, you'll be fine.
