Her beauty is a spell cast over me,
Which holds me completely in thrall;
For me it is unmatched on this earth;
And under its spell I must fall.
The ultimate in feminine pulchritude,
Her presence brightens my gloom,
All others are paled beside her,
I see none but her in a crowded room.
The image of her attractiveness
Can not be put from my mind,
Her visage permeates my every thought,
No escape from it can I find.
Her beauty haunts me night and day,
But I mind not the intrusion;
Though the constant thinking about her,
Can put my mind in a state of confusion.
Yet, her beauty is more than outward,
For it resides also in her heart;
She is the sweet, gentle love of my life,
From whom I hope never to depart.
