'We'll never know,'
I thought,
'What it will be like to go on together.
To graduate high school.
To even get out of middle school.
We'll never know,
Where you would have gone in life.
Who you would have dated.
How you would have grown to love.
We'll never know,
The way you would have taken your senior pictures.
Or what would have been your first car.
But we will know,
The way laughter fades,
The way sorrow shows through,
The beauty in remembrance,
And the fact that life goes on.
We will know how to survive,
Live,
And thrive.
We will know...
Life.
And no more shall you.'
To this day,
Your death is remembered.
God bless you, Heather.

We'll never know...
These eyes never saw you leaving
this heart is in need of some healing
these tired arms are letting you
