A human being, in the course of his life experiences a vast and varied number of feelings and is an amalgamation of a wide variety of emotions. These emotions manifest themselves in behaviors, actions or reactions of man. A man/woman is fueled by his/her emotions that arise due to the changes in the outside environment. Whatever conspires within a person's heart in reaction to any positive or negative outside stimuli, may can be defined as his or her emotional state.
History of mankind is filled with examples of how emotions have ruled man to act a certain way ,thus managing to change the course of history, human emotions are the real history makers. One of the strongest emotions that a man/woman feels and finds most challenging to control is jealousy. Every single one of us has felt and experienced the razor sharp prick of this strong emotion. It is unusually strong in a romantic relationship.
The real culprit behind uncontrollable jealousy is not one; a strong sense of insecurity, lack of self confidence, some childhood scar, over competitiveness, superiority or inferiority complex etc. are some of the factors which trigger and foster jealousy. Jealousy is definitely a negative emotion that has harmful and at times catastrophic outcomes. Jealousy induces a person to behave abnormally, violently, irrationally, sadistically and without any logical or sensible thought process.
Therefore it is very important for all of us to try and control this strong negative emotion which is so common among us. As jealousy emits from within one self and is deeply rooted in a persons mind processes, it becomes crucial that one should find a way to control and combat it through self analysis. There has to be an inner system of filtering thoughts and emotions in order to avoid damage through jealousy and other such harmful emotions. It is a battle that one has to fight to keep sanity and normalcy in one's life.
God has equipped every human being with a system of self control; it is upon us to use it optimally and to its full potential. When one is feeling jealous, the brain emits all sorts of negative hormones that make one lash out and act irrationally, moreover these hormones negatively impact our health. In short jealousy is a health hazard and should be controlled. The inner screening process should be consciously kept on red alert, in case any jealous feeling/emotion or envious thought materializes to torment one.
