Take a trip to downtown Kansas City and start your night off with a lovely dining experience at the Country Club Plaza, lovingly known as downtown KC's premier entertainment district. The Plaza holds well over 30 restaurants from low key bar and grills to upscale steakhouses- sure to please any palate! If you are looking for a fun filled evening for two, try following up your meal with a romantic carriage ride; or get your night moving with some live music by heading into the local Jazz Club or Irish Pub on the Plaza.

If you are looking for something with a little more culture, try checking out The Lyric Opera of Kansas City, it is one of the nation's premier regional opera companies. This historic theatre hosts KC's Ballet and Symphony too! Or try Kansas City's Starlight Theatre. Plan your visit starting with dining and pre-show entertainment, then stay for a Broadway hit such as Chicago, Mama Mia- or a concert from some of today and yesterday's biggest stars! Built upon the Santa Fe Trail to outfit wagons heading west, this place has been renovated into a contemporary hot spot full of dining and drinking galore!
