TANGY ORANGE AND PINEAPPLE SWEET&SOUR DIP

This is a tangy & fruity sweet and sour dip, which is very easy to make. This dip has always been a special favorite in my home and has multiple uses. The best thing about it is that you can never go wrong; it always tastes great, thanks to its fruity flavor. Try it at home and enjoy it with family and friends.

PREPRATION TIME: 15mins approx.

INGREDIENTS:

Orange juice 2cups

Pineapple juice 2cups

Synthetic white vinegar cup

Worcestershire sauce cup

Soya sauce cup

Lemon juice 1tb.sp

Salt to taste

Black pepper 1tsp

Paprika powder 1tsp

Vegetable oil 1tb.sp

Corn flour 1tbsp

Water for mixing the corn flour

METHOD:

Mix corn flour in water and keep in a separate bowl.

Mix all the above mentioned ingredients except the corn flour.

Pour the mixture in a saucepan and place on a low flame for 10minutes,bring to boil and let it simmer for at least five minutes.

Add the corn flour mixture to the mixture in the sauce pan and keep mixing with a spoon to avoid the formation of lumps.

As soon as the mixture assumes the required thickness (this will take about 2 to 3 minutes after the addition of corn flour mixture) take it off the heat and pour in a serving bowl.

SERVING SUGGESTION:

Do not serve this dip chilled, serve it at room temperature or if preferred it can be served hot.

Tastes great with roast meats (chicken or beef) it can also be served with fried nuggets, tempuras, French fries, tortilla crisps etc.

It can also be used as a dip with fried finger fish.

It can also be used as sauce to pour over foods such as roast beef or chicken, makes your food extra special.

It can be refrigerated in an air tight container for a week, and reheated for use.
