In this morning's early light
I allowed myself the opulence to reflect,
and consider the meaning of friendship.
Giving time magnanimously
Sustaining unquestioningly dreams.
I considered the meaning of loyalty;

I considered the meaning of integrity.
Truthful, veracious and sound, forever committed to allegiance.
I considered the meaning of love;
Pure, fulfilling complete.
Eternal wholesome never-ending adoration.

Asleep at my side overflowing with these qualities and more.
And as the early morning light devoured the night's shadows,
I grasped profoundly that I am sincerely blessed.
