Google Earth is an amazing software which can be used to view highly detailed aerial photos or satellite images of any place in the world. No special knowledge of geology or science is required to use Google Earth as it is designed for use by ordinary people although Google Earth includes various advance features and numerous layers of professional and community submissions to assist the user in zooming to see interesting places. The search feature of Google Earth is designed to be extremely intelligent in locating any place in the world. It is extremely powerful in detecting the location by analysing the given name within fractions of seconds.

It does not only show the zoomed pictures of places but it has several interesting feature such as viewing the place as plane, different angle view etc. We can even use Google Earth to get driving directions, to measure the distance between any two places around the globe, to experience viewing a place from sky virtually, to estimate time and weather differences etc. It can also be used as a compass for a virtual tour of the world, as well for sight/seeing, and travelling needs. Recently, it has also been popular for studying and analyzing earthquake/probable location information, ocean studies and vast studies on climatic changes.

Google Earth does not only provide geographical information, but its capability stretches beyond showing 3D images such as buildings and other artificial structures as well. We can have a several view of a single place such as Bird's eye view, angular view (from different perspective), radar view etc. Google Earth can be used for different purposes. Nothing can be any better to learn geography than google earth. It is also helpful in engineering, archaeology, design and climate studies.

GPS routes and tracks can also be viewed and shared using Google Earth.Google Earth gives us almost all the information of a globe. We can manipulate the globe with our mouse as if you were spinning it with a finger in this amazing software. We do not need any books, or we do not need to go search on-line, for detailed information on any location around the globe no matter its in Australia, Egypt, Russia or Chile. We have every information packaged in Google Earth. It also has some cultural, historical and important non/geographical information about the places too.

We can travel anywhere we want, we can experience different cultures, we can have a lot of information about a specefic place and cultural, historical as well as geographical information about that place sitting in our bed room and drinking our favorable cup of tea if we use Google Earth. Google has it all.
