Why breaking up can be the best thing for you

At what point do you realize that a relationship just isn't worth fighting for anymore. There are few things in life that you're sure about, but you know that you want her to be your best friend and your lover. You want to wake up in the mornings and see her face and spend every waking moment drinking in her beauty. You simply want her.

Does it matter to you that she's cheated on you three, maybe even four times? But you're willing to write those off because you love her. You want to be with her. What about the fact that she continually calls and curses you out, only to call back an hour later saying that she's sorry but you made her do it? You love her. You want to be with her.

Is she really worth it? Your friends keep asking you that question but they just don't understand. Or do they?

When you have to drink yourself to sleep every night because your heart has been pulled out and stepped on by the person you love, it's time to re-evaluate. When you find yourself holding back tears every time you mention her name because you remember the messed up things that she's done to you, it's time for you to leave.

It may very well be true that you love her but sometimes, you have to love enough to let go. If you both are constantly fighting what time do you find to be happy together?

You will have a very hard time making the transition from being in a relationship to becoming single. It will be very difficult, but during this time, you must surround yourself with the friends and family that love you and have your back. Time will heal all wounds.

After a sufficient amount of time passes, you'll look back and realize all of the pain that you endured and you'll find yourself thankful that you finally moved on. You'll be able to enjoy phone conversations again and watch couples on TV without thinking about your ex. You'll finally be able to learn what happiness feels like. And then when you see your friend going through the same relationship problems you faced, you'll be able to talk to him from a position of experience. This will help you see that you don't regret your experience (because it made you who you are) but you were able to learn from it.
