Dove - like, we dance the dance of humility
As we come calling soporific
The big toes and small toes;
Your race and my race;
At the unbiased door
Before the unprejudiced door
Yes, the impartial doorstep
Of a most immortal host
To drink and to dine
Drinking of the bitter wine
Every mortal his own
In our transient slumber
The skeletal rest we pose
A rest, to rise no more!

Poetry: Life & death
I have desired life all my given years
As I sat next to death on a ringside seat;
Watched the players, one by one, disappear
by Magi
Heaven's Door
He walked up to this Heaven's
During his journey he paused to give thought
He’d travelled so far and needed a rest
He thought of the good times
by Happy Poet
The Journey
Rising seven springs unite, bringing life to see
Meanders caressing banks his nooks and crannies
Gliding over familiar
by Kendra Allen
How faint the line which now divides
A person's life and death;
No louder than a heartbeat's song
Or deeper than a breath.
