I have it here. The book that started all these debates on the extraterrestrial origins of mankind! Gods From Outer Space by Erich Von Daniken. He also wrote another book called Chariots of the Gods. Von Dummy I like to call him. He did come up with one great Science Fiction story though but he wants you to believe it as the truth. I think his theories are half baked and I will tell you why.

There is nothing new under the sun. Meaning that mankind has been here for about a million years. Through that time a million years of life's experiences have been felt by the human race. People today are no smarter nor dumber than they were years ago and no we did not need aliens to teach us how to build the pyramids of Central and South America or Egypt.

The Symbols of animals on the plains of Nazca have been found to be signs left to tell where water can be found at different parts of the year. They are not messages to aliens who fly space ships in the sky. They can been seen from upon the mountains leading down into the plains of Nazca. The Native Americans of South America are not part of some cargo cult. These were Von Daniken's theories.

Much of the mysteries surrounding the Incan, Aztec and Myan empires have been solved due to anthropological work done with the Native Americans of Central and South America. You can find the Wisdom of the Toltec Empire: The parent empire of the Incans, Aztecs, and Myans. Who were once a part of it before they split into three separate groups. The Egyptians built the pyramids the hard way because that was the only way they could do it. They weren't built by space ships. Building the pyramids and everything else in Egypt is what ran the economy of Egypt in the old days. Every great man has wanted to go down in history as leaving his mark upon the world and who has done that better than the Pharoahs of Egypt and the Emperors of Central and South America?

China has the longest running record of history of any nation on the face of the planet. They have the Great Wall and many other monuments that they know were built by their people by hand in ancient times. Von Dummy never said anything about the Chinesse. Plus people were about as smart as they are today. The problem people had in the old days was simply our technology wasn't as advanced as it has
