The benefits and drawbacks of tattooed makeup

Every woman dreams of the day when they are able to wake up and not worry about applying makeup. It would be the end to countless hours in front of the mirror and worries of whether the eyeliner has smudged midday.

That dream has become a reality to many through the procedure of permanently tattooing makeup. Eyebrows are able to become indefinitely fuller, eyeliner can be applied to give the appearance of fuller eyelashes, and lips can be colored in so that there is never a need for lipstick.

While the thought of an easy morning is more than appealing, there are also drawbacks to having such a procedure done. First and foremost, as with any tattoo, the ink is permanent. Once tattooed makeup is applied, making it go away is not as simple as soap and water. This is a choice that should be made while keeping the future in mind. Removal of the makeup will be a painful process. Even with advanced technology, there is still the risk that scarring will occur with the removal.

Another risk is that the customer may not be satisfied with the results. If the makeup is not placed in the exact manner the customer wants, it will leave a permanent reminder of the mistake. There is no chance for wiping the face clean and starting over. Dissatisfaction does not have to occur immediately. As time progresses, it is a possibility that the ink will fade. Touch ups may be essential in order to keep the tattooed makeup vibrant.

The body naturally shifts as people become older. What was in one place one day may not be in the same place ten years from now. Makeup that has been permanently applied does not always flatter an aging face. Individuals are forced to touch up their makeup each day for correction purposes. The intention of tattooed makeup is to add ease and convenience to daily schedules.

Infections are a possibility with permanent tattooed makeup. Allergic reactions can occur due to the fact that not everyone responds well to pigmentation procedures. To reduce the risk of complications, tattooed makeup should be administered by a professional qualified makeup specialist.

Just as there are risks with every procedure that is done, there are also great benefits. Permanently tattooing makeup adds convenience to any daily routine. Makeup will flawlessly remain on the face it is put on.

Tattooed makeup has the ability to camouflage any small imperfections. The permanent makeup will also be done with more precision than most people can do themselves. There is a greater chance of perfection being reached. There are people that are not able to apply makeup to their standards due to shaky hands or various health problems. Tattooed makeup offers a solution to that problem.

The decision of whether or not to have makeup permanently applied should not be made without great thought. The fact that the choice is permanent should weigh heavily on the outcome. The pros and cons should be considered ensuring the decision is the right one. For some, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks when it comes to the convenience of having makeup permanently applied.
