Health Care Reform in America has become a prime concern to everyone, but whose voice is being heard more? Citizens are crying out desperately for help; politicians are looking at reform to improve the economy; and special interest groups are pushing for profit. With all three voices ringing out with the intensity of clamorous bell chimes, we have to wonder whose voice is being heard more to bring about health care reform to the citizens of America.
The Voice of the Citizens
Finally, they have been heard and the need for health care reform is now being recognized with concern and hope. In his election campaign, President Obama promised, I am going to keep pressing until we get this done, and he appears sincere in his quest to provide the availability of quality health care to everyone. This means generating employment for its citizens so that it can regain its power in trade, both nationally and internationally. To accomplish this feat, they need to resolve many outstanding issues of concern, and one of those issues is health care reform.
The concerns of health care reform have been condensed into two debatable issues: mandatory insurance policies for every American, versus the universal control of health care costs.
President Obama supports it being mandatory for every American to attain health insurance coverage. Under this
