Angels

The sun is setting and the town is calm. As Katie lays little Johnny into bed. Now go to sleep little Johnny I love you. As Johnny falls fast to sleep, Katie starts to look through the newspaper. The year 2000 has been the hardest ever for her. About two months ago her husband was killed by a drunk driver. As he was driving home one evening from work on a back road, a drunk driver crossed the road and struck John head on. The drunk driver walked away without even a scar. Katie was four months pregnant at the time with there only child. Katie and John tried for many years to have a child and then were blessed with a little boy.

Since Katie was almost thirty five the doctors told her that this pregnancy may have problems. That in deed she had. Johnny was born with several medical problems. He was born with a small tumor on his left leg, the doctors have been running test ever since he was born to see if they can remove the tumor. With Johnny only being four months old Katie is having a hard time finding a job that will give her hours that she can take care of her son. Every week little Johnny has to go to the doctor's and Katie has to do it all herself. The money is slowly fading and the bills are pilling up. John's check comes every month but it is barely enough to pay all the bills. Katie is so stressed every night and doesn't know what to do. She was an only child and her parents have passed away. Looking through the newspaper almost no one is hiring. Thankfully, Katie is able to breast feed little Johnny and she has cotton diapers that she can use and reuse for him. The weeks start passing and everyday Katie is looking for a job.

Then one day Katie woke up and something told her Today is going to be a very good day. In disbelief, Katie did her normal as any other day. Feed Johnny every four hours, change his diaper and clean the house. Then as the clock struck two o'clock the door bell rang. Katie went to the door and there stood the UPS man. He said to Katie Mama I have a very large package for you would you mind if I brought it inside for you with a dolly? Katie replied That is fine with me. As the UPS man brings the large package to the door, Katie thinks to herself what in the world could this be? Katie holds the door open as the UPS man brings the package into her living room. He says to her Mama would you like me to help you open it? Katie replies Thank you that would be very helpful. As the UPS man pulls out his pocket knife and opens
